I started really working with animals about 20 years ago. Before that, my connection to animals had been through my own and several years spent in the wildlife rehabilitation field. I’ve worked at veterinary clinics and founded SwimSpaw, a warm water therapy pool in Poulsbo for dogs. In 2007, I completed my small animal massage certification and am a licensed veterinary technician and licensed small animal massage therapist.
My philosophy is to follow what the animal needs and what the body is communicating through my hands. I love working with both dogs and cats.
I feel that most animals are comfortable where they live, so their relaxation at home just makes it easier for me to work with the animal.
